For the Cognac locals, La Courtine has been famous for its excellent traditional French cuisine for years. Nestled in the greenery of Park François 1st -the symbol of Cognac -, La Courtine is just along the Charente River bank.
You can enjoy your delicious fine French meal on the shaded terrace, or in the warmly decorated wood-panelled dining room. The restaurant is just next to the barge for a pleasure ride on the sweet Charente River. We have a large selection of grilled meat dishes, prepared in a modern and refined way with a focus on local products.
